Have you seen our brand new Local Ministry Guide?

In June 2018, we released the first edition of our Local Ministry Guide. This booklet contains a list of local ministries and nonprofits, their mission and needs, and contact information for how to get involved in each. The goal of these Ministry Guides is to help connect people all around the community with worthwhile opportunities to serve and get involved.

The e-version is to the left. If you'd like a copy of this emailed to you, please let us know on our "Contact Us" tab. We would also be happy to deliver some printed versions to your church, nonprofit, or office for you to have available to distribute.

Our most recent Care Day was May 4th!

We had over 45 Christians from over various fellowships all over the area volunteering at nine sites around the community. As usual, lunch was provided and it was a great way to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors while meeting other believers from congregations and fellowships around the community. People of all ages and skill levels came out.

If you have any questions about Care Day, don't hesitate to send us an email! Mail@CommunityFaithPartners.org. The next Care Day will be October 19th, 2019.

Huge thank you to all of our volunteers plus Wegman's, Copper Horse Coffee, Oasis Christian Fellowship, and the Dunkin' Donuts on S. Meadow Street.

Let's Talk About Homelessness

February 17th, over 100 community members came out for a panel discussion on homelessness in Ithaca. The panel, led by four Christians who have dedicated a part of their lives to working with people living in the Jungle in Ithaca, was a huge success in starting a conversation on this issue. If you're interested in learning more on what you can do do help with homelessness in Ithaca, send us an email and we'll give you some resources to get started.

We hope to continue working with this issue in the future. Tune back here for details as we have them, and if you have an idea or are interested in getting involved, let us know!
